Your numbers stay on your device.
The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. The amounts you type are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and never seen by anyone but you.
Every calculation is done by JavaScript running inside your own browser, on your own device. The bill total, the number of people, the incomes, the tax, the tip and the discount are held in the page while you are using it and are discarded when you close or reload the tab.
Nothing you enter is uploaded, transmitted, logged or saved. There is no account and no sign-in, so there is nothing for us to attach your numbers to even in principle.
This site may carry third-party advertising in future. If and when ads are added, the advertising providers may set their own cookies or read device identifiers in order to serve and measure them, and that activity is governed by those providers' own privacy policies rather than this one. This page will be updated to name the providers before any such ads go live.
As of today this site carries no advertising, and the pages load no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers of any kind.
The pages are served as static files through a content delivery network. Like any web host, the network may process standard technical request data such as your IP address in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. That is a property of serving a web page to a browser, not something this site collects about you.
This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children.
